Balestino produces traditional Spanish wines with power and elegance. Balestino is made from 100% small thick-skinned Tempranillo grape, which is the dominant grape in the large Spanish areas of La Mancha, Rioja and Ribera del Duero. The grapes are harvested fully ripe in September and October, and are immediately brought to the winery. Upon arrival, the grapes are lightly pressed before undergoing a controlled fermentation at 26-28 degrees over 7-9 days on large stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine rests on steel tanks before being bottled and released to the market.

Balestino is a full-bodied and powerful wine with a beautiful dark colour. The scent is dense of fruit with a light and interesting mineral edge. In the taste you can feel sultanas, cherries, tomatoes and plums and the aftertaste is mild and soft with a perfect balance between acidity, sweetness and fruit. A great exponent of Spanish wine.

Balestino is an obvious companion to tapas, intense stews, game and medium-bodied cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18 ° C.
